It appears that I have accidentally plonked several a.a. regulars that I
didn't mean to and on my ancient computer even attempting to open my
killfile to correct this causes a total system crash. This has happened
before...I once accidentally plonked Robyn and couldn't see any of her posts
for months until I reformatted! So if you reply to a post or comment to me
and I don't answer, I'm not being rude, I just can't see you! Now back to
your regularly scheduled sodomy!

Well you were the reason why I reformatted....I just couldn't stand not
basking in your wisdom any longer! :)
Actually to this day I can't work out how it happened! I just noticed that
one day I couldn't see any of your posts (and several others)...same thing
has happened again. I'm just noticing people who I can't see anymore...I
don't remember plonking them, but it's happened!

That's happened to me before too. It seems that when the killfile starts to get
a bit crowded, some newsreaders (OE for one) start randomly plonking people on
their own.
