My father started a travel agency. He worked 16 hour days, found
inventive ways to advertise (he wrote a column in the local paper that
was actually a paid advertisement, and had us kids come in to do
things like organize vacation ads. He made a his business run, and
built it with nothing but his experience in the field and hard work.

Success in business isn't measured by the number of hours a day you work,
it's measured by the amount of money you make. Plain and simple. I don't
think there's anything noble about running a business with "nothing but
experience in the field and hard work", I think that's just naive. A
business a success when it gets to the point where you don't have to worry
about it anymore, when you can just have a weekly meeting with the manager.

Excuse me if I don't put Arnie in the same category. My father never
hired a manager, he ran his own affairs.

For your father to become as successful as Arnold, he would have needed
managers too.

Think if it this way...it isn't the first time that
California has elected an incompetent, talentless,
ethically challenged actor as governor.

What is fascinating to me is that Clinton was impeached
and Arnold was elected. Clinton had no victim, just a
willing co-participant. Arnold probably has had scads of
willing participants, but the issue involved women who
were not willing co-participants, just objects of his
unwanted attention.

Also interesting is Arnold's support for reproductive
choice.

There were a lot of Californians who went to the polls and
voted for Arnold holding their noses.

And a six or so women all suddenly show with these stories
at the same time... two days before the election? That's
just a little too fishy for me. Until something is
actually proven, I'm going under the assumption that this
is all just a very classless, low punch by the Dems.
