Cats ! Huh what a bunch of critters.
One of my 2 cats was kind enough to deposit a fresh mouse on the
conservatory floor this afternoon !
Considering their ages, one is 17 years old, and the other 15 years old,
quite an accomplishment I reckon !
Hmmmm, wonder if I'll so so nimble in my old age ?

'Realism is seductive because once you have accepted the reasonable
notion that you should base your actions on reality, you are too often
led to accept, without much questioning, someone else's version of what
that reality is. It is a crucial act of independent thinking to be
skeptical of someone else's description of reality.'-

That's 119 and 105 in human years, so they say...

Hmmmm, wonder if I'll so so nimble in my old age ?

Maybe. But I'm not convinced that a mouse would be an appropriate
nutritional supplement for 119 year old!

Humans are not the only ones living longer. Pets do too, with the
right diet, living conditions, and vet services. Time to update the
numbers.

My aunt had two cats who lived to 19 and 17 back in the 1950s-60s, so
I think the numbers may have been a bit off even then.

I have a cat who'll be 22 years old on his next birthday. He's not as
spry as he used to be, but he's still going strong.

Just remember, when they bring you their kill, it's a sign of love, and
respect.
Nothing says "I love you" better then a dead mouse on the landing.
I have four of them, three females and our tom. None of them younger
then 8 years. Only the tom goes outside these days. The three girls
figured out that the inside of the house was a better, safer place then
even the back yard. ( Must have been something to do with that owl many
years ago ;-) )

Only one way to find out; anyone have any mice laying about?
