Object: OT: Damn
way off today. always tried not to ***** with my parents religion as an
exception to the way I disrespect religion in general. Mom died 2004,
dad's got enuf to do, but he's ok, handling things well, at 83etc, but
talking with him today he asked me to pray for someone and I found
myself blurting out that I don't believe in God and can't pray. He
said at least send my wishes. BZZZZZTTT on me. folks. He's old, been
thru lots of ***** and still came out on top, despite the religion.
He's not going to usurp any government or use religion as a
justification to get over on anyone. I felt bad to throw needles at
his balloon this late in his life. He's still strong but doesn't need
that.
Drat. Nothing in nature works out all the way.
We'll live, though. Till the body is too weak or encounters lethal
destructive force. Bye! :-)
OH not now, the Bye! refers to as late in life as possible.

He got the best of you.
As usual of course.
What a wonderfully wise and gracious response.
"At least send your wishes."
You are a lucky guy.
I envy you having a father like that.
And I envy your father for having a son like you.
