That was the Flying Cow on I-10 north of Seguin, the day before we headed
through that stretch on a trip to San Antonio. (Too bad we didn't head down
old US 90 that Saturday - something tells me someone would have been out on
the roadside hawking beef jerky...)

They arrest illegals there? Wow, I didn't think anybody
did that.

No mention of the fact the cows were actually piloted by the Mexicans
in question. Damned liberal media.

Not quite as much, any more, if the last year has been any indication...the
east side of the Connally Loop is barely 20 miles west, and San Antonio's
tendrils are starting to creep eastward to assimilate Guadalupe County. (I-10
around Seguin has developed a bit just in the last couple of years - not to
the S&D urbanization from Katy to Baytown, but it's ramping up.)

Yes but Seguin is quite... erm... mentally rural...
(Let's just say I'm a tad more familiar with the place than I think I'd
prefer)

I know the feeling, even if there was no one tubing down the river when we
made the trip over and back on March 18...they're getting a late start on this
season.
