OT: Go Braves! |
Beat them Cubs! Woo! Moving right along...
Anyone else following the playoffs? What do you think? Will
the Yankees win again when Steinbrenner throws the Series? Will the
Yankees get arrogant and lose in the ALCS? What about Boston and
Oakland? Questions, questions, answers, answers.
P.S. Sorry about your Giants, Doug.

I'd like the Cubs vs. Boston.

Thanks. I think the A's are going to complete the Bay Area speorts
collapse for this year. We'd be down to depending on the Warriors and
Sharks.
Right.
So I see Yankees - Sox in the ALCS. Sox in five.
Cubs - Marlins. Cubs in six.
Cubs - Red Sox World Series.. World ends just before the winning run
reaches home. :)

Funny. I remember a time in which the very thought of the Cubs in the
World Series was considered ridiculous. That's what I like about it.
I don't care much for the Cubs as I've watched them this year. I want
the Sox to take it all. I think it would be funny if the Marlins did.
For all of those people who believe that any team they didn't expect
to win just "got lucky", I'd like to see them back in the World
Series.

By the time I read this, it was over there. I don't like Cubs or
Braves, but I was plenty sick of the Braves.
Anyone else following the playoffs?
Yeah, but they are missing something for me this year ;)
What do you think?
I'd like to see a Marlins Red Sox WS. No one called that at the
beginning of the season and I love when the so-called experts predict
the future and are dead wrong.
Will
the Yankees win again when Steinbrenner throws the Series?
I hope not. Hate the Yankees. The fans act as if past wins mean they
should automatically make it to the World Series. If they win, they
have a great team and if they lose it's because the other team got
lucky.
Will the
Yankees get arrogant and lose in the ALCS?
Again, I hope they lose to Boston. That would be great for all Boston
fans.
What about Boston and
Oakland?
I'm not an Oakland fan. Mostly because when I had season tickets to
the Angels their fans and Cleveland fans got uglier than all other
fans except Yankee fans. Drunken A's fans have left me with a desire
to see them lose.
Besides, I'm going with a friend of mine who cheered on my Angels last
year. Returning the favor. They've waited long enough.
Questions, questions, answers, answers.
P.S. Sorry about your Giants, Doug.
Yeah. Sorry, Doug. Though I was never pulling for them.
