2.) www.freerepublic.com

Yes. Two definite arguments the web should never have been invented...

"We gave the common man a voice only to find out he had nothing to say."

Good saying.... Probably predates the web in some other form of media.
Sounds familiar, though!
Here's another:
A cousin said it's like panning for gold: you have to go through a lot
of ***** for the few worthwhile nuggets.
(I say it's the silent ones to be afraid of)
Poe wrote something like "when a madman acts sane it is time to be on
guard" - imprecise wording and I'm too lazy to look it up.

Heh. Yeah, I always figured myself to be one of those types when they
interview the neighbors everybody says "but he was so quiet."

Come to think of it, I'm sort of a recluse... there are a few topless
bars I'm known at, I used to shoot good pool until my retina
detachment, but to my neighbors (except for a few) I'm Mr Mystery.
Soon I'm buying a house somewhere else where I'm totally unknown. I
guess I'll have to throw a kegger in the spring, and find a few good
bars.
I wouldn't want people wondering about me.
