OT: Horror Films! |
Went to see Constantine last night. I thought it was rather good, as
these things go. Anyone else seen it? What did you think?

No I haven't seen it...but I do love horror movies so there's a chance I
might. I'll probably just get the DVD though.

I was quite pleased with it. It was better than it had any right to be.

Saw it, laughed at it when I wasn't suicidal from boredom. I never know
what's going on with those semi christian occult flicks.

Oh read a couple of Jason Gastrich's posts. Then movies like that will
be trivially understood, by comparison!

I cannot stand horror films. Too goddamned hoakey for me.

I saw it last week. Wasn't much impressed. About the same as the
Matrix. Pretty mediocre, imo.

I don't need to go and see horror films, I have a mirror.

Heh. So do I, but alas for technical reasons I can't see my reflection
in it.

It was rather good for what it was. Finally, a role that fits Kenau
Reeve's acting "style!" (I swear, I've seen mannakins act more lively
that he does.)
It would be really, really nice to see a religiously based horror movie
where it turned out that the world was NOT based on a Christian model. I
quite enjoyed "The Seventh Sign" because it drew heavily from Jewish
mysticism as well as the Book of Revelations. Even more interesting
would be a good v evil apocalyptic movie based on Navajo myth, or where
Ragnarok arrives in the modern world.
