OT: How 'bout a terrorism betting pool? |
Like a football or baseball pool, only it would be a 24 by 30 grid,
for the 24 hours of the 30 days (31 = 1) of the month. The bettor
would pick a square and write his/her guess of how many innocents get
killed by terrorist(s). The bettor could specify a range like 3-5
dead, but has to pay for each possibility, in this case $3.00. There
could be a bonus for how they were killed, bomb, beheading, gunshot,
poison, or other. What a dream for oddsmakers! There could also be a
jackpot (and fee) for bettors who guess the *name (any single name,
but not "bin" "al-" "w" or other obvious ones) of any participating
terrorist.
If they are making a mint on the war, why oh why can't I?

other leaders of all faith based mumbo jumbo.
each week we all put a dollar in a pay pal account each week or just use
dummy money, we get to pick a number, u get a name and the person
withthe first to die gets the cash

I have no doubt that you can get as low as Ann (you've proven it
incessantly), but I'm afraid you lack both her wit and and a reasonable
point to wrap inside that patina of crassness you've mistaken for humor.

Even tho my post was in a juggler (misspelled jocular again)
vein, I may actually make up, on poster board, such a pool if I get
permission from a bar to solicit bets for it.
If you want to run with it, on the internet whatever, go ahead, just
don't sue the local joe at the local bar making a few hundred off it.
I have enough to live on until I die. For $100,000 I'll provide for
you in my will. :))
