The Rightards in alt.war.Vietnam are touting a recently released
cable, saying that this clearly JFK giving the operatives in VN the go
ahead to topple Diem. I read the cable, seems a little vague, and
Kennedy's name seems to be preprinted on it as a formality.
Anyone know the accurate story behind Diems fall?
