I'm almost finished with "Give Me a Break" by John Stossel.
It's a very cool book. I bought the last one on the shelf.
I highly recommend it.

Most of the endorsements on the back are the typical conservative icons:
Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannidy, etc. Did you find the book to be "fair and
balanced?" I thought it looked interesting, but I am concerned that it is
more "conservative talk show host bashing liberal media."

Do you usually judge books by their covers?

That's what the cover is for.

Gee, and here I've wasted all this time actually *reading* books before
judging them.

Of course. I also count my chickens before they hatch.

So, believeing that homosexuality is normal is conservative?
Although he doesn't really like the way the term libertarian sounds,
that's him. He doesn't like the people who have been put up by the
Libertarian Party to run.
From dictionary.com.
libertarian
1. One who advocates maximizing individual rights and minimizing the
role of the state.
2. One who believes in free will.
That's me too.
Although Republicans (read conservatives) preach this, they rarely
practice it.
He believes in limited government. Private companies almost always do
things better than the government. Government then should step in to deal
with the negative sides effects. The problem is that now government is so
busy miserably trying to do things that private companies could do better
that they fail to manage the negative sides effects.
Ignore the cover.
