Ah, hell, you're right. I could have sworn it was soon going to be time for
another election. This political cycle is just _dragging_ along like none
other
I've ever experienced before. You know what I mean? Like how on some days,
you
can almost see the hands on the clock whiz by and then on others, you look at
it, and then hours and hours and hours later you look at it again and only
ten
minutes have passed. That last part - that's what this Administration is
like
right now. :-#
I know. It is a drag. 2008 seems too far away. The Congressional
elections next year should be interesting. I realize that it may be
wishful thinking, but it would be great if the Dems could grab at least
one Chamber. Or at least reduce the Republican majority in both. They
might be able to keep some of the administrations worst excesses in
check.
