The Liberal Democrats could break through to form a government with a
big majority according to an exclusive opinion poll conducted for The
Independent on Sunday.
Although 20 per cent of voters say they currently intend to vote for
Charles Kennedy's party, 37 per cent of those surveyed agreed with the
statement: "I would vote for the Liberal Democrats if they had a
realistic chance of winning in my constituency".

Catch 22 -- They will only have a realistic chance of winning if they
are voted for.

Students can win us 27 seats, claim Lib Dems
http://politics.guardian.co.uk/libdems/story/0,9061,1405084,00.html
Matthew Tempest, political correspondent
Thursday February 3, 2005
Charles Kennedy today claimed the student vote could win the Liberal
Democrats 27 extra seats in university towns, as he launched a major
pre-election push aimed at undergraduates.
Prominent Labour figures such as sports minister Richard Caborn, deputy
Commons leader Phil Woolas and even former education secretary Charles
Clarke could be vulnerable to a Lib Dem attack with their anti-tuition
fees and Iraq war policies.

Liberal Democrats are in UK. Democrats are in US. Are you confusing the
two?
