Object: OT: LOTR quiz
it came to me last night, after getting back to reading LOTR, that a
quiz on LOTR would be good - before I go about programming this as
interactive on a website, I would just like to know how many of you
would like to take part in such a quiz, and show your knowledge of
LOTR ? (Lord of the Rings)

I wouldn't be the least bit interested in a quiz, particularly not one
created or administered by somebody who just finished reading LOTR for the
first time, but if you want to talk about the books or the movies, that
would be fine with me.

That would be perfect for this guy I know at work. He still hasn't
stopped nit-picking on how "vastly different" the movies were from the
books. Such a thing done well would either shut him up or show that
he really does know what he's talking about on the matter. I'd be
_glad_ to pass it along to him. ;-)

Couldn't be less interested, but thanks anyway.

Don't worry about asking permission. Just throw it out and I'm sure
you'll have a response. If the response is disappointing, just save
it and offer it somewhere/sometime else.
