OT: Man accidentally shoots himself in testicle and leg, ending kidnap attempt |
Not a Darwin award, but he may have taken himself out of the gene pool
anyway...
A botched kidnapping ended with one of the assailants shooting himself
in the groin, Wichita police said. The man had just stuck the gun back
into his waistband when it fired, shooting him in the left testicle.
He cringed, causing the gun to fire again and strike him in the left
calf.

Channel 13 here picked that up? Paul Harvey had fun with it, as well: "Where
was the kidnapper shot? In the 1000 block of South Wichita Street."

Ouch!
One of the national training instructors at Sony told me a story about what
happened at a electronics convention in Reno, NV. Bunch of guys hanging out
together at a small party in a hotel. Guy walks in and says, "Hey, how you
doing?" and gives his friend a smack on the butt. Friend had gun in back
pocket. Gun goes off and man shoots himself in the leg. Oh dear ;)
