give voice to the rest of the conservative crowd, starting with the
vice president's daughter. Matalin will publish a memoir by Mary
Cheney, whose homosexuality became an issue in the election, next
year. NEWSWEEK's Susannah Meadows talked to Matalin, the Republican
pundit and wife of fiery Democratic strategist James Carville, about
her new role as editor.
