Despite the purported release date of 1 Oct, it's actually available
now, and amongst other things there's a female vampire in the Watch (a
black ribboner) who fancies Capt. Carrot, so presumably not for
dinner.

Available in Waterstones today and my copy which I got through play.com (had
a voucher) was waiting for me when I get home :)
TP is doing a book signing in Belfast in October and I think I might take it
along to get signed!

I dunno. I thought the thing about being a vampire was that you could
polish someone off, then they'd come back a bit later and join in the fun.
