Great pictures!
And to think, God spent all those days creating the earth, then in a
blink of an eye, as almost an afterthought, he created all that stuff up
there.

Well, actually "He's" been working on it for a few thousand years but,
up until a few hundred years ago, "He" saw to it that "His" earthly
representatives tortured to death anyone who attempted to observe,
theorize about, or speculate on "His" work in progress. Well, the
paint's dry now on the crystal spheres and "He" wants us to have a
look. Our god is an awesome god. Love "Him" or go to hell.

Maybe he didn't want them to see all the mistakes and screw ups that
he made until he had a chance to get them fixed.

God is benevolent. God is just. God is merciful. And if you don't
believe that God says "Go to Hell and suffer unspeakable torture for
all eternity". Nice god.

Well, I think that was precisely my point! As soon as we realized that
we were created in "His" image we set about creating erasers, spackle,
paint remover, correction fluid, mulligans(do-overs), spell checkers
etc. so that we could cover our asses just like our "creator." Hell's
bells when we get time machines we'll be able to make our "creator"
proud of our ability to not be blamed for *anything* and take credit
for everything, just like "Him"!

Interesting that when someone like Saddam exhibits this behavior he is
worthy of scorn, death and removal, yet when "God" exhibits similar
behavior "He" is considered, by many of the same people, worthy of
respect and worship. Funny that! (No, I don't think Saddam should've
stayed in power, I think both he and "God" should be removed.. We're
better of without either one.)
