No Hard Books, or Easy Deaths

By CHARLES McGRATH
Many of Susan Sontag's essays were meditations of a sort, in which she
brooded over something and then worked out her own thoughts and
feelings.

Here's an accurate <a
href="http://www.washtimes.com/national/20041229-122439-9356r.htm">obituary</a>:
"Susan Sontag, a critic, novelist and essayist who blamed America for
the September 11 terror attacks and once declared that "the white race
is the cancer of human history," died in New York yesterday at age 71."
Good riddance

It's about your sacrificing your life and money for your God.

Just so you know, I am a hard atheist with regard to any sort of
personal god like the one found in the bible. It's quite clear that
no such being exists. I am an igtheist with regard to other
definitions of god. That is, I don't know what they hell they are
talking about. I cannot really claim that something doesn't exist if
I don't know what the hell they are talking about. I can however
honestly claim that I believe they don't know what the hell they are
talking about. I have yet to find any religion that is intellectually
respectable.
I didn't vote for Kerry because he is a liar and traitor. I didn't
vote for the Libertarian candidate because he was a kook. Sad to say
I voted for Bush because I hated him less than I hated Kerry. First
time I voted for a Republican I believe. I was stupid enough in my
youth to have voted for Carter and Dukakadoodledoo.
I don't know if the Iraq war is going to "work" and I don't
particularly like the idea of all the money we are spending on them,
they should be taxed and be paying us.
