Rita is now projected to still be a Cat 1 hurricane by the time it reaches
the San Antonio/Austin area. Usually a hurricane would be reduced to a
tropical storm at most that far inland.
Has there *ever been a hurricane in *Austin?*

Actually, it IS headed straight for Crawford. They'll probably get better
than 70 mph sustained winds.
