OT Only five days remaining |
before it's time to pull the sofa away from the wall, throw a couple of
bags of crisps (chips) behind with a bottle of pop.
Pour a couple of glasses of wine for mum and dad, dim the lights and
tune to BBC1 at 19:15.
Yes, it's the return of Dr. Who with New Earth :) Yipee

For once we get to see a decent show before the Americans ;)

Hummm...It's been on here in the states for at least a month. It's okay,
but I wouldn't say superb.

Series 1 has been on in the States, series 2 starts here on Saturday
with David Tennent replacing Christopher (lots of planets have a north)
Ecclestone
It's okay, but I wouldn't say superb.
Maybe it's a cultural thing, you might miss the in-jokes.
Having nightmares about the Silurians and even worse the one where the
plastic dolls came alive and killed people when they got hot, that one
gave me nightmares :~ (we're going back a good few years for this mind)
As for Leela and Ace - WOW!

Isn't it nice to watch a show and not have to wonder about who Mr Joe

Not to mention having to actually turn on the "closed caption" setting
sometimes. Sigh. I have noticeable hearing loss and sometimes the accents
throw me. Usually the Rose character...

I've seen several of the episodes - are you talking about the latest
one, or the beginning of the series?
They are cool, though, aren't they?

A female Dr. Who fan, how cool is that :)
The new series with David Tennent starts on Saturday, this follows on
from the Christmas Special which was his first outing as The Doctor.
