Object: O.T. Oscar Wilde
I just saw the play Gross Indecency, as presented by the local
community college. Oscar Wilde was portrayed wearing a hot pink
Victorian style suit and acted like a contrite buffoon.
What was Oscar Wilde really like? Was he weak or strong?
Was the Marquis of Queensbury the flaming A-hole he was portrayed to
be in the play? Hated by his son and others in his family?
