OT: Pallies show their true colors |
Democracy is a wonderful thing. It is the means by which a free people
control their collective destiny. Such has happened in the Palestinian
territories. Unfortunately, Democracy does not imbue the electorate
with wisdom, and consequently they reap what they sow (excuse the
Biblical phrase). It has been well said of the Pallies that they never
miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity. Here's the latest case in
point. Palestine has chosen to continue to make war against the women
and children of Israel. They have chosen to make terror their national
goal. This differs from the past, mainly in that although they made the
same choice throughout their history, they at least pretended to aspire
to Fatah's/Arafat's fig leaf of a stated desire for peaceful coexistence.
One foreseeable consequence of this election, is that it makes Benjamin
Netanyahu's position much stronger inside of Israel. Netanyahu will, if
in power, exercise a heavy hand in response to any more of the assaults,
which are are sure to come now that Hamas is in charge and free to carry
them out. In many ways, his job will be simpler, now that he need not
pretend that he has anyone to negotiate with. The fence will be
completed, some settlements destroyed, but the hopes for the Pallies for
their own homeland or for acquisition of disputed lands is a lost cause.
The Israelis will be justifiably more focused on defending themselves
from the now openly hostile barbarians outside their gates. Another
foreseeable consequence of their choice, is that the Pallies are likely
to see much less foreign aid, now that they voted terror to be their
official policy. The Pallies are welfare recipients from the global
trough. The only products that their society produces and exports is
human suffering. That is their contribution to this world. They have
sown a bumper crop with this election.
Since the Israelis unilaterally chose to disengage with them,
Palestinian society has grown increasingly grim. They have used their
new-found liberty to import arms from Egypt to be used to kill Jews.
They have descended into increased lawlessness, unable to govern
themselves or their fractured society of gun-toting savages. Hamas will
have a hard a time keeping Pallies from killing each other. Such is the
nature of barbarians, that when their common enemy is beyond their
reach, they turn on each other.

I placed "OT" in subject, but it in fact it has a great deal to do with
atheism. We hear no end of b itches about religion is the root of all
evil. Well in this case, I can agree that Islam is certainly the root
of the evils in the ME. Here is the Hamas charter:
http://www.palestinecenter.org/cpap/documents/charter.html
The Pallies have chosen to elect leaders who are religious bigots of the
worst kind. Leaders whose avowed goal is the death of their neighbors
just because they don't share that religion.
