The theists will say that God saved them all with not one casualty
amongst them.

So? If they all died, the theists would still be praising Jesus.

"It is necessary to the happiness of man that he be
mentally faithful to himself. Infidelity does not
consist in believing, or in disbelieving; it consists
in professing to believe what one does not believe. It
is impossible to calculate the moral mischief, if I may
so express it, that mental lying has produced in society.
When man has so far corrupted and prostituted the
chastity of his mind, as to subscribe his professional
belief to things he does not believe, he has prepared
himself for the commission of every other crime."

Or the classic (and nauseating) "Gawd needed him/her/them in heaven".

My best friend got that "God needed him in heaven" ***** from a family
friend when his oldest brother died in a car accident. He totally blew up
at the person who said it and rightfully so.

Good for him. I might very well have done the same if something like
that happened to me.

Once upon a time in alt.atheism, dear sweet Chris Assaf's commanding
officer (chrisa1981@hotmail.com) made the light shine upon us with this:
x-no-archive: yes
http://www.canada.com/news/national/story.html?id=2bca5dc0-316d-4352-a5

The theists will say that God saved them all with not one casualty
amongst them.
Of course they will. But they won't be able to answer the question, why
did the god make the plane crash in the first place so he could save them?

God is working similar miracles for me.
He is helping me get into the reserves. He helped me pass the aptitude
test, the interview, and medical exams.
However, in the medical exam, I misunderstood a few directions from the
doctor. But, I passed. That is the miracle.
