OT: Rotten.com URL address prefixes |
Hello! :-)
I'm trying to get some things on rotten.com, but they have it set up in some
funky way. The links will say "vatican.rotten.com" or "poetry.rotten.com" or
some such, and the articles won't be under that link. Sometimes changing
"vatican" to "poetry" will make the link work, and sometimes it won't, and
sometimes the ones that link to "poetry.rotten.com" don't work, either. It
seems they must use "dummy" prefixes in place of the "www" (which also doesn't
work), and one has to just figure out what the -real- prefix is. Does anyone
know where I can find information to help me navigate whatever odd system it is
they got going on with these names? :-? I can't seem to find anything about it
through Google. Help? :-?
Thanks in advance... :-)

I don't know about vatican.rotten.com (I get an unable to connect
error), but poetry.rotten.com works for me.
As far as specific pages being on that link, that's their problem. If
you find a broken link, email them at staff@rotten.com.

stood as anthropomorphic. What I see in Nature is a magnificent structure that we can
comprehend only very imperfectly, and that must fill a thinking person with a feeling of
humility. This is a genuinely religious feeling that has nothing to do with mysticism."

Poetry.rotten.com will work as a substitute for "vatican.rotten.com" in some
cases, but not all. Anyways, it's got to be something they do on purpose
because it's been that way for years, and I've written them, never received a
response, and it never changes. So I just figured someone somewhere might
actually know what their system is and how to navigate it. But thanks for the
response just the same. :-)
