Wow! That was...interesting. The clips were better than I thought
they'd be, but... I'm still is shock. I can't imagine trying to play
Rush without percussion. I still don't know what to think!

That was definitely the worst of the bunch!

My review...
I got it recently and I'm not that impressed. I think if I was alive
30 years ago (I'm 29)to remember those old songs, I might get into it
more. It's not terrible, but I won't listen to it much. Did you go
to their 30th anniversary concert? It was pretty cool to hear them do
those songs live. Honestly, without Neil's lyrics, Rush wouldn't be
that great in my opinion though (don't shoot), and the songs all lack
his imagination and vision.

I like the sound, aside from some overplaying on "Summertime Blues." On
many of the other songs, it sounded like they'd regained their late-
70s sound after some years with too many keyboards. But then, I'm a bass
and guitar player: I might be slightly biased. Maybe.
I do like it more than I did "Vapor Trails"--but on that album, 'Peaceable
Kingdom' captured the horrors of 9/11 so well that it still puts a lump in
my throat.

About PK... I feel stupid about it, but I never made the connection.
"The tower" is mentioned frequently. I should have seen that. Hmmm.
I wish I knew more about tarot. I'm sure it is way more meaningful
that I would think. I should have also seen the "a billion other
voices" line as meaning the billion Muslims.
I gave Feedback another try yesterday on a long trip and I like every
song except Summertime Blues. That being the first kinda turned me
off prematurely. I particularly enjoy Heart Full of Soul.

That's funny. I always thought that the lyrics were one of the worst
things about Rush's product. I also never liked how heavily processed
their sound was. Rather than all those pedals and crap to make the
three-peice band seem bigger, they should have hired a couple more
musicians.

HOW DARE YOU! If it weren't for Rush, I'd be hanging out in some
catholic newsgroup (well, probably)!
