Object: OT: Seeking info on possible Hitler employee
I'm looking to confirm whether or not a woman (aged 90+) I know is known to have
ever worked directly for Adolf Hitler. She's no longer in her own right mind,
and so getting info from her isn't possible. Her name is Thea, and she would
have been someone who actually interacted with him - such as a secretary, a
housemaid or something relatively close. I only know her married name now, and
in order to protect her privacy (though she probably couldn't care less at this
point), I don't wish to divulge it. I'm looking on Google for employees of
Hitler's "inner circle" (or whatever you'd call his direct employees) who were
named Thea, but not having much luck finding anything more than Thea von Harbou,
who isn't connected to him in quite the same way and who judging from her
picture is definitely not the lady in question (she'd be in her 100s, the Thea
I'm questioning isn't yet 100).
Any assistance would be appreciated.

I've done work like this, but without more details than just a first
name there aren't really too many suggestions to give. Here are a few.
Unless you know for sure otherwise, please don't overlook the
possibility Thea is her middle name, a diminutive, or even a nickname.
Did she wed in the US? Marriage licenses are public records and you
can get her full birth name if you know where she she got married.
If she had a different surname while working for him, you really
should have that. Do you know when she emigrated to the US? Checking
passenger lists during the possible dates may turn her up. You'll find
resources for that at genealogical libraries.
Do you read German? If not, your best bet may actually be neo-Nazi
sites where they treat Hitler almost like a god. They'd be likely to
have all sorts of personal details about him and his household.
