Sex crimes and the Vatican
Panorama investigates a secret document which critics say has been
used to silence child abuse victims. Crimen Sollicitationis was
enforced for 20 years by Cardinal Ratzinger before he became Pope.
"What you really have here is an explicit written policy to cover up
cases of child sexual abuse. It's all controlled by the Vatican and at
the top of the Vatican is the Pope so Joseph Ratzinger was in the
middle of this."
