Ozzie, the Turkish Cypriot who runs the barber's shop in Parkway,
Camden Town, serves his customers Turkish coffee. While I was sipping
mine, he reminded me that the Turkish prime minister, Recep Tayyip
Erdogan, will be visiting London this week for talks with our prime
minister.
"Mr Blair is a good friend of Turkey," Ozzie said. "We need him now.
It's time to let Turkey into the EU."
