US Muslims asks Pentagon to investigate mocking
Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), America's largest
Islamic civil liberties group, is asking the Pentagon to
investigate two reported cases of US soldiers conducting their
service inappropriately in Iraq.
CAIR has received a photo of a US soldier with two Iraqi boys
holding a sign saying "Lcpl Boudreaux killed my Dad, th(en) he
knocked up my sister!"
The other case concerns inappropriate conduct with prepubescent
Iraqi girls.
"If the United States Army is seeking to win the hearts and
minds of the Iraqi people, this is the wrong way to accomplish
that goal," says CAIR Executive Director Nihad Awad. ( Photo
