Object: OT (very OT): I need a topcoat!
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, I need a topcoat. Actually, I want one.
Still, it is about the same, no?
I am asking you people because of a few reasons. Number one,
eBay ain't workin' out too well for me. And, number two, I figure that
since the holidays are over many of you have some clothes that either
do not fit or are too old and you want to give them away. Why not
makes yourselves a small profit by selling one to me? I take either a
44 or 46 reg. My feelings are not going to be hurt if I get no offers,
though.
P.S. I am fully aware of the crosspost. Play nice, children.

Now, let's see. You have a computer, so your family isn't impoverished.

Is it more a case of you wanting something faddish that your folks
aren't willing to waste money on?

I must add: is it a crime to look good, Peter? I never follow any
fashion fads. Hell, I have not worn a pair of actual blue jeans in
almost a year. Khakis and oxfords, thank you!

Blue jeans - fad?

LOL, how long has it been now? 60 70 years now?

I would agree with that, although who knows if we have the same ones in

what is good looking. FWIW, I also think Kate is wrong.

Now, let's see. You have a computer, so your family isn't
impoverished.

Is it more a case of you wanting something faddish that your folks
aren't willing to waste money on?

No. Peacoats are faddish now, Peter. Topcoats are not. And...
***** it, Peter, they ain't exactly cheap! Even at Burlington they
are $150!

If you haven't saved up the money, don't complain!

Have you tried thrift shops (¢¢) or vintage clothing stores ($$)?

I will now. Thanks, Pete!

You'll find some very cool stuff there!

Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing?
Then where does evil come from?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?

I am asking you people because of a few reasons. Number one,
eBay ain't workin' out too well for me. And, number two, I figure that
since the holidays are over many of you have some clothes that either
do not fit or are too old and you want to give them away. Why not
makes yourselves a small profit by selling one to me? I take either a
44 or 46 reg. My feelings are not going to be hurt if I get no offers,
though.

P.S. I am fully aware of the crosspost. Play nice, children.

I do have this:

I've worn it twice I think.
I don't know anything about sizes.
You say you wear a 44 or 46 reg.
Is that close to a medium?
I'm 5'8 and it comes to about mid calf on me.
Will it fit you?
