Other Movie Studios Demand Christian Boycotts Too |
HOLLYWOOD (EAP) With the box office success of the Da Vinci Code,
other movie studios demand that Christian boycott their movies as
well.
"Let's face it" said a movie studio head who wishes not to be named,
"it's expensive to run commercials, if we can get the Christians
outraged enough to post screeds on usenets and blogs, hold press
conferences, and just make enough noise, think of all the advertizing
costs we would save."
Other movies that are now activley lobbying for Christian boycotts
include X-Men, which is simply an allegory for gays in America and
Superman, which glamorizes illegal immigration (Clarke Kent did not
apply for a valid visa when he entered into the US).

After reading this, I got a compelling urge to check the _Onion_'s home
page, and I didn't see this story. Where did you get it from?

Hey - why dont they boycott any movies with dinosaurs, fossils,
mentions of DNA, science, the speed of light etc etc - all these
undermine the bible...

It was horrible, but with all the free publicity it made pretty good
