Another Creation Story
This is another theory about creation and how the earth and the
universe began. It is based on the biblical account in Genesis 1 and
was motivated by Gen 1:26 in which God said, "Let us make man in our
image."
"Us" implies God was not alone. There was at least one other.
"In our image," probably means, "Like us" since God is
invisible and
exists as a spirit, an entity without physical form.
If God made man in his image then God must be a lot like man.
I believe this.
Critics will say that I am creating God in my image.
So what?
I believe God is a composite of all people and the Bible is His device
to
help us understand our nature and purpose in His universe.
Scientists, theologians, philosophers, scholars and others with great
command of language will continue to write massive articles and books
and deliver great lectures, speeches, and sermons about God, but the
end result will be the same as in the story of the Tower of Babel.
Only children, children of God, are capable of accepting and
appreciating the wonder and mystery of existence.
This story is for them.
P=2ES. A googol is a very large number. It is one, followed by a hundred
zeros. Some scientists and mathematicians say there aren't that many
atoms in the entire universe!
P=2ES.S. Googolplex is the name of the largest whole number less than
infinity. It is one, followed by a googol zeros!!! It is beyond
imagination.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN
by PacaSaul
Welcome children.
Today we will talk about the beginning of God and the creation of the
Earth.
Imagine:
Emptiness everywhere!
No light, no dust, no noise, no wind...
Absolutely nothing!
Suddenly GOD!
Grand, Omnificent, Dynamic
Source of all energy and matter.
Mystery!
Nobody knows for certain the, "who, what, where, why, when, or
how",
about God.
God appeared as a Spirit; an entity with a mind;
The first breath spewing dust and vapors into the vast, deep, dark,
endless void.
Specks of dust everywhere.
Millions of specks, billions of specks, trillions and googols and
googolplex specks...
Dust! Whirling at random without pattern or purpose.
God was aware of the vapors and each and every speck in His universe.
God played with the dust.
God became aware that He was alone. God imagined another Spirit like
Himself:
Someone to communicate with, to share ideas and thoughts with, to
create with, to play with.
A constant, committed companion to be with Him always.
God said his very first words,
"Let there be love."
Wonder of Wonders! (WOW!)
Another spirit appeared.
God thought, "Miracle of Miracles!
By my word I can create.
I will call my first creation, "MOM"."
God and Mom talked in a language called, "Godspeak" which is
understandable to all God's creations.
They talked and played and spewed dust and vapors everywhere together.
After a while God said,
"Boring!"
Mom said, "Let's clean up this mess. Dust is everywhere."
Mom picked out a spot and said,
"Let all the specks of dust gather at this one place."
Specks of dust came from all directions.
Millions of specks, billions of specks, trillions and googols and
googolplex specks came whizzing in from all corners of space forming a
gigantic dust ball.
The universe consisted of God, Mom, a big ball of dust, and vapors,
surrounded by the deep, dark, infinitely vast vacuum of space.
God and Mom played with the ball.
They knew everything about it, inside and out.
After a while God said,
"Boring!"
Mom suggested that the ball was too big.
God agreed.
They exerted forces that squeezed the specks of dust closer
and closer together.
The ball began to shrink.
As it got smaller, and smaller, and smaller, the ball got harder and
harder and harder.
God and Mom played with the ball and studied it through all its changes
in size.
Something strange happened!
The ball began to glow!
God and Mom and the ball were always surrounded by darkness.
This was something new.
As the dust got tighter and tighter and tighter
The glow got brighter and brighter and brighter!
God and Mom marveled at what they created, a small, super brilliant
ball.
They were amazed at their power to create with the dust they spewed
forth.
One dazzling ball of light, vapors, God and Mom, surrounded by the
deep, dark, vast, vacuum of nothingness; that's all there was.
God and Mom realized that they were immortal and would live forever.
They knew how quickly God got bored.
God and Mom agreed that they would create a universe that could keep
them entertained throughout all eternity.
They imagined many brilliant balls throughout space.
God said, "We will call the brilliance, 'Light', and spread balls
of
light all over the universe."
Mom agreed. They discussed how they would do it.
God said, "We will make more dust and go through this process again
and again."
"But", said Mom, "we have the power of imagination and the
ability to
create what we imagine just by our words."
Together they planned the scattering of brilliant balls everywhere.
They exerted great energy on the one small dazzling ball that they had.
God said the words, "Let there be light!"
A tremendous explosion occurred!
Balls of light flew off in every direction.
Millions of balls, billions of balls, trillions and googols and
googolplex balls whirled through space making fantastic, colorful
displays to the amazement and amusement of their creators.
It was the biggest fireworks show in the history of forever!
Light's everywhere!
No order anywhere!
Lights whizzing helter-skelter in space following no pattern.
God and Mom marveled at the big balls of light and the little balls of
light; lights of all colors making marvelous designs everywhere.
God called the balls of light, 'Stars'.
This event in which God lit up space is referred to as the, 'Big
Bang'.
God and Mom made their first visits to each star they created.
The whirling stars entertained God and Mom for a while.
Then God said,
"Boring!"
God and Mom thought about what to do with all these stars.
They decided to put out the light on one of the smaller stars.
They made a first visit to a small star, and named it, "Earth". It
was
very bright and very hot.
They pondered how to put out the flames that made the light.
God imagined vapors and gases becoming liquids.
God said, "Let there be water."
Mom and God caused a great flood to cover Earth.
The water boiled.
As the water got hotter and hotter and hotter
the light got dimmer and dimmer and dimmer.
Great quantities of steam rose into space collecting in fluffy white
clouds that hovered over the watery ball below.
After a long, long while the water stopped boiling.
The flames were out.
God and Mom created a new kind of ball that was not a bright star.
The star "Earth" became the "Planet Earth".
God called the clouds and everything outside of Earth, "Heaven".
That was God's second visit to Earth.
God and Mom made a third visit to earth.
Water, water, everywhere!
They explored and studied the wet planet.
Beneath the water there was solid stuff.
Beneath the solid stuff there was, thick, fluid stuff.
Beneath the fluid stuff there was light and a burning caldron.
They called the fiery caldron a 'volcano', and the fluid stuff,
'lava'.
God and Mom imagined something coming out of the waters.
They imagined dry land.
They caused the volcanoes to send up hot lava to rise up above the
waters.
When the lava cooled, large areas of dry land appeared.
They separated the land from the waters.
God and Mom made continents, oceans, mountains, seas, lakes, rivers,
waterfalls, canyons, beaches, islands, and deserts.
When light from a nearby star shone on the earth, They called it
'Day'.
Where there was no light, They called it, 'Night'.
Exploring the dry lands and the oceans by day and night was
interesting and fun for a while.
The land was drab, just rocks, sand and dirt.
The seas, lakes, and rivers were just water with nothing in them.
God said, "Boring!"
God and Mom discussed what to do with the water and the dry land.
They visualized and made colorful objects of varied sizes and shapes to
brighten big areas on earth, but they were static, never changing and
after a short while, "Boring".
The Divine Pair imagined things that would constantly change and
replicate themselves.
They came up with the idea of living things!
They created gardens with grass, trees, plants and flowers of many
sizes, shapes, colors, and scents.
Gardens were scattered around the earth, some on land and some in the
waters.
Then Mom said, "We could spend forever just covering the land on this
puny, little planet. We have a big universe to take care of. We need
help."
God and Mom conferred.
They conceived spirit beings with limited abilities and powers, who
could think, communicate, imagine, and create what they imagined.
With God and Mom's directions they would beautify the planet earth.
God said, "Let there be Angels."
And the Angels came!
They were the first children of God.
God and Mom made Angels before They made humans.
Angels learned everything about the stars, heaven, and the planet
Earth.
They learned about grass, plants, trees, fruits, vegetables, flowers,
and other things that were in the gardens that God and Mom put
on land and in water.
"Your first assignment," God said, "is to decorate Earth with all
kinds
of colorful things.
"What ever you imagine will come to be.
"You may make very, very small plants and very, very large ones, and
all sizes in between.
"You will determine their qualities, shapes and colors, and how they
will replicate themselves.
"Mom and I will reward you for your efforts.
"Recognition will be given to the angels whose creations we like
best."
God organized the angels and sent them in teams to different parts of
the earth to do their jobs.
God said, "Let the decoration contest begin!"
Eagerly, the angels went to work.
Huge areas were soon covered with gardens of all sizes and descriptions
of grasses, trees, vines, shrubs, plants, flowers, and foliage.
Angels became competitive in their individual and team efforts to
please God and outdo other angels' creations.
They designed fruit and vegetables with a sense of purpose and a
sense of humor to entertain themselves.
While the angels made pine trees and palm trees, bananas, avocados, and
oranges, beets, corn and lima beans, God and Mom were involved in
other matters in their ever-expanding universe.
On Their fourth visit to earth, (which may have been millions of years
later), God and Mom realized that all was not right with the angels and
their gardens.
Plants were sick and dying. Trees looked terrible.
The angels suggested that the reason plants were not doing as well
expected was possibly because they never knew how much light and
darkness they would have.
There was a lack of order and predictability in the heavens and on
earth.
God and Mom conferred.
They agreed with the angels.
How to put order in the universe?
That was a big question to ponder.
Heaven was still in constant chaos.
More and more stars were being created.
Light came to Earth whenever a star was close enough to cast its light.
Light on Earth was called, 'Day.' Dark was called, 'Night.'
Mom thought, "This is no way to run a Universe."
She said, "Everything changes so quickly.
Change without order is chaos.
We need change with order that is predictable, or timely.
We need some big help.
Let us create another Spirit like ourselves whose main job will be to
put everything in order and keep it that way."
God said, "Let there be Time!"
Another Miracle!
A spirit appeared, very much like God and Mom.
God explained the situation and discussed ways to improve it.
"We three will work as a team.
"Together, we will organize heaven and keep the universe in balance.

From now on we three will be "The Divine Family", a Trinity.

Whatever comes from one of us comes from all.
I am God. Mom is Mother Nature. You are Father Time.
We are the origin of all things that are, and all things yet to be.
We are the source, the providers for all living things,
enabling them to grow and flourish;
the reapers for all things to end,
the restorers for all things to be renewed.
"By us and through us, with the help of angels, all earthly and
heavenly matters will be managed."
Father Time's first task was to arrange the stars in some orderly
manner.
Using Mother Nature's force of gravity and other timely energies the
stars were set in orbital patterns, which were predictable.
Star patterns made with billions of stars, were called, "Galaxies."
Each star and all the nearby matter, such as planets, moons,
atmosphere, gasses, comets, meteors, asteroids, and whatever, was
called, "a System".
Father Time placed the planet Earth in an orbit around a small star
called the Sun.
The Divine Family formed the solar system that contains the sun, the
earth, the moon, and several other planets with their moons.
During the fourth visit to earth God set Earth's clocks.
Time began!
The sun lit up the days.
A moon and stars in the heavens lit up the nights.
The earth was tilted and spun around on its axis.
Seasons and weather patterns were established: Spring, Summer, Autumn,
Winter.
Seasons enabled the angels to design plants that kept the earth
predictably beautiful all through the year.

From the fourth visit until today, a day is about twenty-four hours.

A year is about 365 days.
Father Time, with the help of angels, set the clocks and cycles for all
things in the universe.
The Divine Family made order out of chaos
On their fifth visit (many, many years later) the earth was lush with
foliage of all sizes, shapes and colors.
Wonderful plants decorated the land and the waters.
Fruit, vegetables, flowers, trees, leaves of all description were
everywhere on the land and in the waters.
The Divine Family imagined living things that could benefit from this
beauty. They made some flying creatures, big and small, that could
thrive on the leaves, fruit, seeds, nectar, and nuts on the trees and
plants.
Angels were given the job of filling the sky with creatures that could
fly.
They designed birds and insects of all sizes, colors, shapes, and
abilities: hummingbirds, bees, parrots, mosquitoes, and flying
dinosaurs.
God also had the angels fill the seas with creatures that could dine on
the vegetation that lived in the water.
One celled bacteria, tiny minnows, giant whales, crabs, octopuses, fish
of all kinds, and anemones filled the waters grew and flourished .
All the creatures the angels created flourished on Natures bounty.
Soon population problems started in the seas and in the skies.
There were too many little creatures crowding out and annoying the
bigger ones.
Since flying animals and insects and water creatures ate only plants
they lived a long time, dying mainly from old age and accidents.
The Divine Family conferred.
They realized it was important to control the numbers of living things
on earth.
If nothing ever died earth would soon be overrun with old and very old
things.
God said, "We must limit the amount of time each living thing may
stay
alive."
The Divine Family set time limits for each kind of plant, fish, insect,
or bird to live.
Balancing methods were needed to enable individuals and whole groups to
survive.
Big fish were allowed to eat little fish.
Big flying creatures began to eat smaller flying creatures.
Some creatures were designed to eat only meat. (Carnivores.)
Some were designed to eat only plant life. (Vegetarians.)
Some were designed to eat both meat and vegetables. (Omnivores.)
Mother Nature designed healthy ecosystems and environments to keep
populations in balance.
On their sixth visit to earth, many, many years later, the Divine
Family noticed that the low grasses on earth were over grown.
The birds of the sky and the fish of the sea were not eating the
grasses and plants on the land.
God assigned the angels the job of populating the earth with all kinds
of animals from the smallest to the largest to walk, run, or crawl on
the dry lands.
Tiny ants to huge dinosaurs soon roamed over vast grasslands.
The angels did a fine job of designing cows, pigs, elephants,
giraffes, snakes, spiders, snails, worms and all the other walking and
crawling animals and insects.
The Divine Family conferred.
God said, "We have created the angels, spirit creatures to do our
bidding.
They have great imaginations and wonderful creative talents.
They don't require any solid food since they have no physical bodies.
They are easy to create and place anywhere we want them.
They work hard and are well organized into efficient groups.
They do many wonderful things just to please us.
We need to make a creature that is part angel and part animal."
God said, "Let us make humans, males and females, in our image, like
us.
"Let them be physical like the animals, but with a mind capable of
imagination and mental powers needed to accomplish what they imagine.
"Let us give each a soul, a spirit that will live forever, but let
their physical bodies be limited like the animals.
"Let them have the ability to reason, imagine, communicate,
visualize,
contemplate, cogitate, aggravate, initiate, and be like us in many
ways.
"Let them have dominion over all creatures in the air, on the land,
and in the sea
Mother Nature asked, "Which animal should we pick to set above all
others, and give the powers of the angels? A cow? an elephant? a
giraffe? a fish? a bird?"
The Trinity decided on a design for humans that was similar to an
ape's body but very different in size, strength, and physical
abilities.
God made the first humans different and apart from other animals and
angels.
God made humans, men and women, male and female, from dust of the
earth, stardust, God dust.
When their bodies were fully formed God breathed a soul into the
nostrils of each and every one of them to make them godlike.
The first cry of a human was evidence that a soul was implanted.
The Divine Family made the very first humans, men and women.
All of them were created equal.
Each was given five senses; sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell.
Each had two arms, two legs, one heart, two kidneys, one liver, two
eyes, two ears, one tongue, one nose, ten fingers, ten toes, etc.
Each human was given all the systems necessary to sustain life: a
digestive system, a nervous system, a circulatory system, a pulmonary
system, a skeletal system, a reproductive system, etc.
Mother Nature designed their biological processes.
Father Time set their biological clocks.
God said to the angels, "Populate the earth with humans.
"Make them all equal, but give them different characteristics to
distinguish them one from the other.
"Make no two exactly alike. Give each a unique physical code.
"Design them big and small, short and tall.
"Shape each physical feature of their faces and bodies.
"Color their eyes, hair, and skin.
"Enable them to communicate. Give them voices and languages.
"Let them differ in personality, temperament, rhythms, creativity,
and mental and physical capabilities and talents.
"You angels will be the guardians of all the humans you design and
all their progeny throughout time.
"You will be the liaisons between God and humans in all matters,
including listening to, and answering prayers."
Teams of angels were sent to all parts of the earth to create people.
They enjoyed the challenge. Teams competed.
Each team wanted God to like their people best.
The Divine Family was well satisfied with their sixth visit.
Before they left God gave all living land creatures and humans their
first commandment, "Go forth and multiply."
On their seventh visit to earth, (many, many years later), the Divine
Family did a thorough inspection of the land, seas, and skies.
They checked the geology, biology, physics, chemistry, botany, zoology,
meteorology, astronomy, and astrology.
Everything seemed to be in order.
Each living thing was unique and distinct.
Each species brought forth progeny after their own kind.
Father Time checked all of earth's cycles and seasons.
Everything was in order, up to the minute.
Everything the angels did was for God's approval and pleasure.
They succeeded handsomely.
There were no more new things that God wanted them to create.
God rested.
The Divine Family talked about humans.
"We will show no preference to any team of angels for their human
designs.
We will reward them all as first place winners.
"Since humans have many of our characteristics they will all be known
and treated as Children of God.
"We will accept and treat them equally.
"Although they look different, speak different languages and have
different thoughts and ideas, we will love them all the same.
"Humans will always pursue inner peace, harmony, and happiness.
"Achieving these goals will be called "Success".
"Death will always be a mystery to humans.
"What happens to their souls, their spiritual parts, after they die,
their afterlives, will be determined by their beliefs and behaviors
while they lived.
"We gave each human a conscience and mental and physical abilities
that no other creatures have.
"They have feelings that cause them to act in strange ways.
"They love or hate each other; they help or kill each other...
"We gave humans emotions because emotions make for great drama.
"We enjoy drama and all kinds of theater;
"We like comedy and tragedy, humor and pathos, farce and horror,
circus and burlesque, passion, love, beauty, envy, hate, conflict,
violence, games, sports, spectacles, music and dance.
"Drama entertains and keeps Us from being bored.
"We enjoy action, excitement, daring, compassion and romance.
"We love heroes, villains, and all the members of the chorus.
"Earth is Our little theater.
"All creatures on earth are actors.
"Angels are directors and technical staff.
"God, Mother Nature, and Father Time are the producers.
"We are the force, the energy behind the scenes.
"We and the actors are also members of the audience.
"Applause!
"We all want applause for the parts we play.
"We want acknowledgment for our role as producers.
"Prayers are our reward for making it all possible.
"Actors need approval and acclaim for the parts they play.
"A great afterlife is a humans' reward for their earthly
performances.
"The joy of pleasing God is reward enough for the Angels."
God acknowledged the angels for their magnificent work and
accomplishments.
Angels accepted new roles as guardians and liaisons between humans and
God.
God expressed His pleasure and blessed all things on the planet.
God continued, "We created the earth and all things on it in six
visits.
"Each time we came here we assigned the angels a new task.
"The next time we visit there may not be anything new to excite
us."
God was ready to end the seventh visit.
On leaving God said these three words,
"Let evolution begin!"
Then God turned his attention to all the humans and said one word,
"Improvise!" which means,
"You have free will. Be creative. Do the best you can."
That was the beginning and end of the seven visits in which God, Mother
Nature, and Father Time created the earth and all things in it.

Horatio. 'Twere to consider too curiously, to consider so.
Hamlet. No, faith, not a jot; but to follow him thither with modesty
enough, and likelihood to lead it; as thus: Jesus died,
Jesus was buried, Jesus returneth into dust; the dust is
earth; of earth we make loam; and why of that loam (whereto he
was converted) might they not stop a beer barrel?
Imperious Christ, dead and turn'd to clay,
Might stop a hole to keep the wind away.
O, that that earth which kept the world in awe
Should patch a wall t' expel the winter's flaw!
