"And I warned him about this war. I had deep misgivings about this war, deep
misgivings. And I was trying to say, 'Mr. President, you had better prepare
the American people for casualties.' "
Robertson said the president then told him, "Oh, no, we're not going to have
any casualties."
The White House had no comment on Robertson's remarks.
Kerry Campaign has asked the White House if Roberson was lying.
This could be a turning point for Kerry:

Look at this one:
Quite aside from partisan attacks coming from the Kerry camp, the most
biting critique has come from Brent Scowcroft, who mused to Britain's
Financial Times the other day that while the transatlantic relationship is
"in general bad," George W. Bush's attention is elsewhere:
"[Israeli Prime Minister Ariel] Sharon just has him wrapped around his
little finger. I think the president is mesmerized. When there is a suicide
attack [followed by a reprisal] Sharon calls the president and says, 'I'm on
the front line of terrorism', and the president says, 'Yes, you are. . . '
He [Mr. Sharon] has been nothing but trouble."

The shock and awe (blitzkrieg) tactic is supposed to minimise the
attacker's casualties. It is conceivable he expected there to be no US
deaths prior to the surrender. But then he also imagined they'd be
welomed as heroes because he couldn't conceive of the Iraqis having
any other view than that spun by domestic US media.

"And I warned him about this war. I had deep misgivings about this war, deep
misgivings. And I was trying to say, 'Mr. President, you had better prepare
the American people for casualties.' "
Robertson said the president then told him, "Oh, no, we're not going to have
any casualties."
The White House had no comment on Robertson's remarks.

Let's see Pat Robertson supports the Republican Party, supports George W.
Bush, his television programmes constantly attack John Kerry and give
support to Bush --- So what reason would Pat Robertson have to lie about
something that reflects badly of Bush???
Logically, he must be telling the truth.

*****. Pat Robertson couldn't tell the truth from a hole in
the ground. That's as true now as it was when he said 911 was
all about the homasekshuls.

Bush is a Methodist. Methodists are considerably more
mellow than fundamentalists.

Hardly matters. Bush breaks more with the Methodist church than Kerry does with
the Catholic.
