I made a mistake in my commentary on the Fort Pickens storm aftermath:
#3: Looking east. These buildings used to be officer's quarters, admin,
kitchens, etc. These days, they house a museum, admin, a small store, and
Ranger quarters. Just after the hurricane, those 2-story buildings were
flooded maybe halfway up the lower-story windows.
Correction:
The buildings are mostly single-story, but are built on pilings. In the
shots just after the storm passed, the water level is just above floor-
level.
