Planned Parenthood Operates 825 Abortion Centers, Targets Latinos
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A new survey of Planned Parenthood
facilities finds the abortion business now operates 825 centers that either
perform abortions or distribute drugs that can cause them. Planned
Parenthood watchdog Jim Sedlak of STOPP International says it "continues to
push its abortion agenda through a network of more than 800 facilities
nationwide."
Sedlak's group says Planned Parenthood now operates 173 centers that perform
surgical abortions and 57 centers that don't perform surgical abortions but
distribute the dangerous RU 486 abortion drug.
In addition, 595 other Planned Parenthood locations distribute drugs like
the morning after pill that can sometimes cause an abortion. Most all
Planned Parenthood centers, even if they do not perform abortions on site,
will refer women to abortion businesses in town.
Sedlak's group relied on Planned Parenthood brochures, web sites, and other
printed data to collect the information. He said one recent phenomenon in
the abortion business is the rise in the number of "express" clinics.
Those are smaller centers that act like a pharmacy to dispense Plan B and
birth control drugs.
"It appears this is an effort by Planned Parenthood to increase its number
of clients without significantly increasing expenses," he explained. "Our
research shows that Planned Parenthood sells a monthly supply of birth
control pills for anywhere from $16 to $25, but pays just $1.50 for them."
The express centers appear to be concentrated in rural states such as
Montana which has 10 of the 47 nationwide.
California, New York and Texas have the highest number of Planned Parenthood
centers -- leading Sedlak to be concerned about the abortion business
targeting Hispanics.
"The high Latino population in these states gives a clear picture of Planned
Parenthood's current target market," Sedlak says. "Since its founding in
1916, Planned Parenthood has focused its efforts and programs on
minorities."
Other states with high concentration of Planned Parenthood abortion
businesses include Pennsylvania, Washington, Ohio and Indiana. Less
populated states like Idaho, North and South Dakota, Wyoming and Rhode
Island have just one or two each.

So, Sherlock, enlighten us: just how many PP offices are there in Houston,
and how many actually provide abortions? I know both numbers (and one of said
offices isn't two miles from where I'm sitting), and they have nothing to do
with the professonal paranoids at lifenews.com.

You gotta wonder if it's due to the influence of the church and its
supression of contraceptives, resulting in more pregnancies.

Each day, 40,000 chidlren die from malnutrition and disease - nearly
all of them are dark-skinned in third-world countries. The
anti-abortion organizations listed on the planned parenthood web site
take down almost $200 million each year (Planned parenthood pulls in
less than $70 million).
$200 million would prevent the loss of all of those 40,000 daily lives
and not one single person would have a single complaint about it: there
would be no controversy at all. Why don't the so-called
"right-to-life" organizations prove their commitment to life and start
there? Right now Bill Gates may be bent on world domination, producing
shitty software and inviting viruses into your computer, but he is
actually fighting viruses IRL, doing far, far more to prevent *these*
"abortions" than the right-to-lifers are.
"It is the policy of Planned Parenthood Federation of America to
ensure that women have the right to seek and obtain medically safe,
legal abortions under dignified conditions and at reasonable cost.
"Abortion services must include information on the nature,
consequences, and risks of the procedure, and counseling on the
alternatives available to the woman, so as to assure an informed and
responsible decision concerning the continuation or termination of
pregnancy.
"Abortion must always be a matter of personal choice. Planned
Parenthood recognizes its responsibility to guard equally against
coercion or denial of services in connection with a patient's decision
about continuing a pregnancy. No one should be denied abortion services
solely because of age, or economic or social circumstances. Public
funds should be made available to subsidize the cost of abortion
services for those who choose abortion but cannot afford it.
"Planned Parenthood has the responsibility to provide access to
high quality, confidential abortion services directly through the
affiliates' own medical facilities and/or indirectly through referral
to other competent medical facilities in the community, especially in
areas of unmet need for abortion services....
"It is the policy of Planned Parenthood Federation of America to
assure that adolescents have access to information about human
sexuality and to reproductive health care services. Adolescents should
be encouraged, when possible, to involve their parents and/or other
responsible and concerned adults in their reproductive decision-making.
Planned Parenthood opposes any limitation or restriction on the access
of adolescents to confidential reproductive health services, including
contraception and abortion. Planned Parenthood also supports a range of
activities designed to reduce adolescent pregnancy and childbearing,
such as expanded sexuality education, increased service accessibility,
enhanced public awareness, behavioral research, and the development of
contraceptive methods specially suited to adolescents."

So no, they're doing precisely what they claim to do and they're doing
it openly and honestly, which is more than we can say for believers.
And when it comes down to the facts, if you believe in god, you're
forced to accept that he doesn't care about children, and that if he
created everything, he aborts more babies than any amount of abortion
clinics can compete with.

Because there is an unfortunate tendency for them to be poorer, less

for latinos, in many cases, that is the religion that has a
stranglehold on the country that they or their parents are from, so

http://www.lifenews.com/nat1953.html

A biased and untrustworthy source.

Good. They are working to ensure that women have access to the medical
facilities that they need to control their own reproduction.

Planned Parenthood watchdog Jim Sedlak of STOPP International

a biased and untrustworthy source, ESPECIALLY with regards to Planned
Parenthood.

says it "continues to
push its abortion agenda through a network of more than 800 facilities
nationwide."

And helping women keep control of their own lives, by allowing them to
make their own medical decisions and act on those decisions.

Sedlak's group says Planned Parenthood now operates 173 centers that perform
surgical abortions and 57 centers that don't perform surgical abortions but
distribute the dangerous RU 486 abortion drug.

RU 486 is NOT dangerous. It is safer than many over the counter drugs.

In addition, 595 other Planned Parenthood locations distribute drugs like
the morning after pill that can sometimes cause an abortion.

A lie. The morning after pill has no effect on a pregnancy, and cannot
cause an abortion.

Most all
Planned Parenthood centers, even if they do not perform abortions on site,
will refer women to abortion businesses in town.

Good. That is what an honest and competent physicians' office should
do when they cannot perform a medical procedure.

Sedlak's group relied on Planned Parenthood brochures, web sites, and other
printed data to collect the information.

And then proceeds to distort it and lie about it.

He said one recent phenomenon in
the abortion business is the rise in the number of "express" clinics.

Those are smaller centers that act like a pharmacy to dispense Plan B and
birth control drugs.

Well, given the idiocy and lack of regard for their customers that some
pharmacies have, this is a good thing. Besides, Plan B must be taken
as soon as possible for it to have the greatest possible chance of
success. And birth control is to prevent the pregnancy in the first
place.

"It appears this is an effort by Planned Parenthood to increase its number
of clients without significantly increasing expenses," he explained. "Our
research shows that Planned Parenthood sells a monthly supply of birth
control pills for anywhere from $16 to $25, but pays just $1.50 for them."

If you check, this is still about the same price, if not cheaper, as a
woman without insurance would have to pay at a pharmacy. And the drug
companies get a tax write-off, which means that they are not likely to
stop the practice.
Besides, doctor's offices and clinics are allowed to dispense
medications. And many do, if only in small quantities while you get
your prescription filled.

The express centers appear to be concentrated in rural states such as
Montana which has 10 of the 47 nationwide.

Where they are more likely to be needed.

California, New York and Texas have the highest number of Planned Parenthood
centers -- leading Sedlak to be concerned about the abortion business
targeting Hispanics.

Which is unlikely. These are also the most populous states, and two of
the three are considered to be liberal. It makes sense to have the
most centers where there are the most people. It hardly makes sense to
have a dozen clinics in Montana or Alaska, where there are no where
near enough people to support them. (the size of the states, however,
means that there should be far more clinics that perform abortions in
practically every state. At least one per county would be best.)

"The high Latino population in these states gives a clear picture of Planned
Parenthood's current target market," Sedlak says. "Since its founding in
1916, Planned Parenthood has focused its efforts and programs on
minorities."

Again, half-truths, distortions, and out-right lies. The total
population in those states is what necessitates the number of clinics.

Other states with high concentration of Planned Parenthood abortion
businesses include Pennsylvania, Washington, Ohio and Indiana.

Again, populous and liberal or balanced states. I am glad that
Indiana, my home state, and Ohio, its neighbor, do have a better
average than normal of women's clinics that perform abortions. That is
good news.

Less
populated states like Idaho, North and South Dakota, Wyoming and Rhode
Island have just one or two each.

Surprise, Surprise. States with fewer people have fewer clinics. And
why do you think that is, Einstein?

Insurgents Kill 140 as Iraq Clashes Escalate
5 U.S. Troops Among Dead

BAGHDAD, Jan. 5 -- The residents of Ramadi had had enough. As they
frantically searched the city's hospital for relatives killed and wounded in
bomb blasts at a police recruiting station Thursday, they did something they
had never publicly done: They blamed al Qaeda in Iraq, the insurgent
movement led by Abu Musab Zarqawi.
"Neither the Americans nor the Shiites have any benefit in doing this. It is
Zarqawi," said Khalid Saadi, 42, who came to the hospital looking for his
brother, Muhammed. Others said they hoped that sympathies in the city,
considered a hotbed of support for the Sunni Arab insurgency, would turn
against Zarqawi's faction.

Saadi later learned that his brother was dead, one of more than 140 people
killed in attacks Thursday in Iraq. The violence, which included a suicide
bombing in Karbala, contributed to one of the bloodiest days since the
U.S.-led invasion of the country in 2003.
The attacks came a day after insurgents killed 42 people at a funeral in the
city of Muqdadiyah. Before Wednesday, the country had enjoyed a measure of
calm and even optimism as rival politicians talked of arranging a
broad-based coalition government following the Dec. 15 elections.
But the attacks Thursday suggested that the insurgents would remain an
important force in the country's future.
At least 80 Sunni Arabs were killed and 61 wounded at the recruiting center
in Ramadi, the capital of the Sunni-dominated province of Anbar, when two
suicide bombers detonated explosive vests outside the building, said Majeed
Tikriti, a doctor at the city's hospital. In an e-mailed statement, U.S.
military authorities said 30 people had been killed in the attack.
A hospital official in Karbala said 54 people were killed there.
Also, five American soldiers were killed by a roadside bomb in the capital,
the U.S. military said. And gunmen ambushed and killed four Iraqi police
officers in Baqubah, north of Baghdad, an Iraqi government spokesman said.
In the Ramadi attack, more than 1,000 men had gathered at the center to
apply for new jobs with the Iraqi police, Marine Capt. Jeffrey S. Pool said
in the statement. A suicide bomber detonated an explosive vest in the middle
of the crowd, witnesses and Iraqi police said.
Wounded and panicked applicants surged forward in hopes of finding a way
from the Jersey-walled entrance into the recruiting center, where another
bomber was waiting to detonate an explosive belt, said one witness, Amar
Oda, who was among those looking for a job.

Planned Parenthood Operates 825 Abortion Centers, Targets Latinos

Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A new survey of Planned Parenthood
facilities finds the abortion business now operates 825 centers that
either
perform abortions or distribute drugs that can cause them. Planned
Parenthood watchdog Jim Sedlak of STOPP International says it "continues
to
push its abortion agenda through a network of more than 800 facilities
nationwide."
Sedlak's group says Planned Parenthood now operates 173 centers that
perform
surgical abortions and 57 centers that don't perform surgical abortions
but
distribute the dangerous RU 486 abortion drug.

In addition, 595 other Planned Parenthood locations distribute drugs like
the morning after pill that can sometimes cause an abortion. Most all
Planned Parenthood centers, even if they do not perform abortions on site,
will refer women to abortion businesses in town.

Sedlak's group relied on Planned Parenthood brochures, web sites, and
other
printed data to collect the information.

California, New York and Texas have the highest number of Planned
Parenthood
centers -- leading Sedlak to be concerned about the abortion business
targeting Hispanics.

"The high Latino population in these states gives a clear picture of
Planned
Parenthood's current target market," Sedlak says. "Since its founding in
1916, Planned Parenthood has focused its efforts and programs on
minorities."

Other states with high concentration of Planned Parenthood abortion
businesses include Pennsylvania, Washington, Ohio and Indiana. Less
populated states like Idaho, North and South Dakota, Wyoming and Rhode
Island have just one or two each.

It is, actually, since it is the RCC that has historically kept people
subject to poverty and ignorance. How soon people forget.

Latins are mostly catlicks anyway. The sensible ones have decided that the
