Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- A preview of the latest annual report
from the Planned Parenthood Federation of America shows that the
nation's largest abortion business is doing more abortions than ever
before. The report indicates PPFA affiliates across the country did
264,943 abortions in 2005 alone, increase of 3.9 percent over 2004.
The abortion business also said it sold 1,245,506 "emergency" birth
control kits in 2005, which is an increase of 26.6 percent more than
in 2004 and every Planned Parenthood sells birth control as well.
Douglas Scott, the head of Life Decisions International, a group that
monitors corporations that donate to Planned Parenthood, said he found
it hypocritical that the abortion business claims birth control and
the Plan B drug reduces the number of abortions while doing more
abortions than at any point in its history.
"Planned Parenthood claims to prevent the 'need' for abortion while
simultaneously working to increase its share of the lucrative abortion
market," he told LifeNews.com in a statement.
PPFA is expected to release its 2005-2006 Annual Report within the
next few months.
"One can be sure that in addition to killing more human beings that
ever before, Planned Parenthood will have taken in more money than
ever before," Scott said.
He pointed out that the nonprofit's incoming is rapidly approaching
the $1 billion mark and that it generated an estimated $100 million
from doing abortions in 2005.
"One can also be sure that Planned Parenthood will end up with tens of
millions of dollars in 'excess revenue over expenses,' which is known
to most people as 'profit,'" Scott added.
Since 1970, when Planned Parenthood began doing some of the first
legal abortions in the nation, PPFA reports having done 4,068,749
abortions.
That's a scary number of unborn children killed via abortion and women
hurt by the damaging physical, spiritual and mental health problems it
causes, Jim Sedlak of STOPP International, told LifeNews.com.
"Although it took Planned Parenthood 35 years to kill its first four
million babies in the United States, at its current rate of doing
abortion, it could kill another four million in less than 15 years,"
he said.
He said Planned Parenthood can continue the high rate of abortions
"because elected officials and private citizens allow it to exist" and
that it was time to close it for good.
Planned Parenthood, which tries to legitimatize its image by doing
legitimate reproductive health care, also gave breast exams to 844,201
women -- ironic because abortion is linked to breast cancer.
Still, that was 82,562 fewer breast cancer screenings than the
previous year.
Other statistics show that Planned Parenthood indicated there were
5,062 fewer instances of prenatal care and 32,925 fewer pregnancy
tests.
"Planned Parenthood is in the death business and nobody does it
better," Scott concluded. "Unfortunately for preborn children,
abortion seems to be the only part of Planned Parenthood's business
that can be called 'provably successful.'"

several things. First, the cop WAS in the process of arresting you.

However, reality is not what you claim it is.
Here is a fairly likely scenario of what happened during that stop,
minus Johnny's commentary, evasions, etc., but based on what Johnny
has said and common police procedure.
Reality is that you were pulled over for driving erratically, causing
the cop to think that you were DUI. For whatever reason, it was in
the vicinity of several other cops. You started to act belligerent,
so the cop asked you to step out of the car. You continued to act
belligerent, possibly threatening the cop, so he drew his weapon and
asked you to put your hands on the hood/trunk of the car. He
holstered his weapon and approached you from behind. When he reached
around to grab your wrist, you swung around and "pushed him to the
ground", i.e. attacked him. The rest of the cops in the area dogpiled
on you before the first cop could start to react, subduing you with
their batons. You were held down and cuffed, then searched to make
sure you did not have any weapons on you. You were then stuffed into
the back of Giovanni's squad car. Your car was then searched, and
evidence was removed after being properly labeled. Your car was later
towed to the impound lot. You were taken to the station,
fingerprinted, and booked. You spent a couple days in the drunk tank
before your arraignment, where your bail was set and paid. The
warrants that were written based on your actions were confirmed by the
judge, and you were assigned a public defender as your lawyer. You
were then released after being told the conditions of your bail.
Nothing that was done by anyone except you was in any way illegal.
And chances are, the video will show that my description of what
happened that night to be pretty accurate.
