I am being bombarded with pope death news on every media outlet, and
now I have the choice on all channels of the the funeral service.
gripping stuff. what about atheists like me and followers of other
religeons? Hopefully the next pope will be an idiot and when he snuffs
it nobody will give a toss.

It is true, they did a vox-pop in St Peters square a few days ago and
one idiot said he would be lost without 'his father' until the next
Pope is elected. It reminded me of the end of LOR part 3 when the
tower came down and the eye went out. All the Orcs suddenly were lost
and fled in terror. Maybe its the same with catholics when they have
no Pope. They either go on the rampage with no moral guidance to
keep them in check (since they have no moral sense of their own) or
hide in terror with the more courageous standing cringing in St.
Peters square wailing in fear waiting anxiously for the puff of white
smoke to tell them alls well again. Do I jest :-)
ps Superb Molslem prayer rug they laid the coffin on :-)
Looking at a photograph of the carpet in this mornings paper it
looks like a superb example of a design depicting the muslim idea of
paradise which is usually a formal flower filled garden around pools
of water. It is clearly a good example of a Moslem prayer rug
or carpet that they spread in their mosques for kneeling on. It was
probably stolen from a looted mosque. They have many such
looted treasures in the Vatican.
