Police in a seaside town are asking churchgoers to pray for them in the hope
it will reduce crime in the area.
Dorset Police Chief Supt Bob Boulton launched the project - 40 days of
prayer for Bournemouth - after reading an article about crime and prayer.
He asked church leaders to encourage congregations to pray for a reduction
in binge drinking, sex crimes and drug-related ofences.
