CARAVAN HEADS FOR D.C. -- ATHEISTS, SEPARATIONISTS TO PROTEST IN
WASHINGTON THIS SUNDAY!
The cultural and political battle over religion in the public square
intensifies as the "Save the Commandments" Caravan heads for
Washington, DC. Supporters will ask lawmakers to amend our
constitution in order to permit the display of the Ten Commandments
and other religious symbols on government property. American
Atheists invites all nonbelievers, Freethinkers, Secular Humanists
and other state-church separationists to join us in a counter protest
on Sunday, October 5, 2003 at the U.S. Capitol Building. Get the

If religion was perceived as a business, there wouldn't be a need for a
political battle. It would illegal for a religious involvement in
government, politics and justice system as a conflict of interest.
