Pontificating Pollock bites dust |
V. I. Lenin, the celebrated prophet of Communism, said, "Religion is
the opium of the people. Religion is a kind of spiritual intoxicant, in
which the slaves of capital drown their humanity and their desires for
some sort of decent human existence."
According to Lenin's words then, communism was created as a direct
response to the blind stupidity of religious devotees. In this respect,
if there was no dumb religion, there would have been no need for, and
therefore, no communism.
Did the pope ever say he helped to create communism? I think not, but
indirectly he did.
And I estimate without direct proof, that the irrational beliefs that
are at the basis of religion, are also the cause of all wars, and 95% of
the problems affecting humanity. But don't expect those lost to those
beliefs to admit to any responsibiity at all.

The pope supported the group that according to Marx, was the direct
reason communism was created, although communism itself was created
before this present pope was around.
