ROME (Reuters) - Homosexual marriages are part of "a new ideology of evil"
that is insidiously threatening society, Pope John Paul says in a new book
published on Tuesday.

Excellent! I offer a toast to the Pope, and a wish that he continue
to make ever more outrageous public statements, in every medium, that
alienate ever more people from the influence of the Catholic Church.
Isn't it great to have a member of the E.A.C. (not that it actually
exists) sitting in the big chair at the Vatican?

The Pope has written a new book in which he voices the opinoin
regarding efforts to legalize gay marriage that "It is legitimate and
necessary to ask oneself if this is not perhaps part of a new ideology
of evil, perhaps more insidious and hidden, which attempts to pit
human rights against the family and against man." In other news, the
Washington Post reported that "More than 1,000 people reported to
civil or church authorities in 2004 that they had been sexually abused
as children by Roman Catholic priests [...]"
