Pope Paul 11 |
The demise of the Pope will cause much shock and grief but we should remember that now that he has
passed from the troubles of this life he is off soaring through the blue skies to the land of
angels.
Here he will live in total ecstasy in the perfect heaven above, savoring the unspeakable joy
of Eden, enraptured by the sheer exhilaration of life immortal, overcome by the sweet essence of
paradise itself. Safe now in the kingdom of glory, resting in Shakespear's "treasury of everlasting
joy" he can devote himself to praise and prayer, exult in the flawless perfection of the universe
and experience the indescribable exuberance of eternal salvation.
Free now, his soul glistening in the golden glow of glory, he can celebrate the
righteousness of his cause- and perhaps, in his beautiful benevolence, even pray for all those he
sent ahead- the women who died in childbirth, the men who died of aids.
Cheers

Does it retreat? It seems more like it just develops thicker armor.

The problem is that any Muslim wouldn't be having any fun with
any virgin since the "soul" is the only body part that makes the
journey. He would have nothing to deflower those virgins with.

yah...but don't forget that god...who is supposed to be all-knowing and
perfect planning, and perfect designing...chose every single mechanical
action for the whole universe in advance....before the universes's
creation. Thus, the 'mechanical actions' of the pope, people, the
devil, and everything else was all chosen in advance by god. Basically,
god is the film-writer, choreographer and movie producer all bundled
into one. Whatever happens today is nothing more than god watching a
RE-RUN his/her/its own movie that was made before he/she/it even made
anything (ie...god made up everything in his/her/its head or mind well
in advance...so the whole exercise is pointless).
