Don't be so paranoid. You're just having a news server problem.

Possibly it's the cross-post into alt.atheism?

Oh you have issues, that's for sure.
Attributing every software and network glitch to somebody being "out to
get you" is *quite an issue. You might want to talk to someone about that...

On the other hand, quite possibly somebody IS out to get him!

Well, it's *certainly not the Evil Atheist Conspiracy. For one, mucking
with Usenet servers is much, much too mundane. For two, the orbital
Rapture Ray(pat. pending) needs testing. For three, we do not exist, did
not launch anything into orbit last month, and can't be after anybody in
that we're busy not existing.

Why would you think someone is trying to hijack your account. Usually these
things are simply technical issues.
Then again, if you must put a spiritual spin on your recent experience, why
would you attribute your troubles to an enemy? Since God is in control,
maybe He is telling you to put a sock in it?
As a side note to your sig:
http://johnw.freeshell.org/bible/
2Tim. 4:2 Preach the Word; be prepared in
season and out of season; correct, rebuke
and encourage ‹ with great patience and careful instruction.
2Tim. 4:3 For the time will come when men
will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead,
to suit their own desires, they will gather around
them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.
I have found, unfortunately, that many of those with the itchiest ears are
the preachers. They like to listen to themselves talk, and they like to be
in control.
However, this command follows on the heels of a great many other commands to
the man of God, and assumes that the servant of the Lord will be obedient.
Many preachers are not listened to because they say and do not (like the
Pharisees were reputed to behave), or they have forgotten that they are
sinful themselves, or they are simply nasty where nastiness is not required,
or other reasons other than their message. It is one thing to reject the
message because the message is not palatable. It is quite another to reject
the message because the messenger has made it unpalatable.
Do you see the difference?
Regards,
Raymond E. Griffith
