Prayer For Pope John Paul II. |
Lord, you granted to Peter and his successors the power to exercise your
authority over the flock which is your Church. Grant to our Holy Father, Pope
John Paul II, the grace to follow your will in all things, the strength to
resist the influence of worldly opinion, the wisdom to see your Spirit at work
in men and in world events, the holiness to be an example for all of mankind,
and the courage to protect your Church from evil in all its forms.
Help him as he works in union with the other bishops as shepherd, priest and
teacher and grant him the joy of seeing the Church grow in numbers and in
grace. Amen.

Lord, you granted to your apostles the power to excersice the
continuiation of meaningless relgion and the brainwashing of your flock
of mindless zelots. Grant to that old guy who runs the catholic church,
I think hes called the pope, the grace to shuffle off in a timely
manner regaining at least a scrap of diginity. Ohhhhhhhh lord please
let his sucessor be as stubberon is he was on worldly issues and remain
an innefective pariah over the relgious masses. help your churches to
continue to maim kill and slaughter in your name oh lord as your will
be done on earth. Amen

orders? You will have to demand he attends your local altar so he can
explain why he disobeyed.

that it proves that gawd listens to prayer. If he gets better, it's a
miracle, if he dies then sometimes the answer is "no." Gawd has called
him home.
