Brennan's mother, Jodi Hawkins, gave a brief statement at the hospital,
thanking the sheriff's office, volunteers, and others involved in the
search.
Jodi Hawkins: "People say that the heavens are closed and God no longer
answers prayers. We are here to unequivocally tell you that the heavens
are not closed, prayers are answered and children come home. We love
you, we thank you."
Kay Godfrey, a spokeswoman for the Boy Scouts' Great Salt Lake
Council, pronounced the boy's rescue a "modern-day miracle."
Sadly God didn't like this little girl:

Calif. Girl Dies While Biking Near Moab
Jun. 21, 2005
MOAB, Utah (AP) -- A 15-year-old California has died of apparent
dehydration while biking near Moab.
Authorities said the girl was biking with her mother yesterday on the
Porcupine Rim Trail, east of Moab. Emergency crews were sent to the area
around 4:00 pm.
The Grand County Sheriff's Office said crews found the girl and her
34-year-old mother, both from Stockton, California, about two miles from
State Road 128. The Sheriff's Office said by the time paramedics reached
them, the girl was unconscious.
Deputies said she died a short time later. Her mother was flown to a
hospital in Moab, where she was treated for dehydration.
I expect these morons to turn on their god at any moment. Fat chance.

I'm sure she believes it was some kind of test. These people are really
whacked out.

She wasn't from Utah - that's why god didn't save her!
