Prime numbers from 2 to 10? |
On some stupid, moronic television show someone was asked how many
prime numbers there are from 2 to 10. The idiot in the chair didn't
know so he polled the audience -- and only 46% of them got it right.
More than have were fucking morons.
Then there was a poll of AOL users. Of those fucking idiots, only
35% of them got the answer right. To make it even more amusing,
the guy who was asked didn't trust either polls so he asked a friend
by telephone -- who also got it wrong.
Finally the guy went with the local audience that correctly gave
the answer.
That's education in the United States -- and tells us something about
AOL users that we've known all along.

So where was the error?
Did they not know what a prime number was or did they get the number wrong?
Most people who do know will instantly tell you that even and sequential
prime numbers don't exist.

2 and 3 are sequential primes, and 2 is an even prime.

every deed is foul, foul, foul.

This can't be true. A live show, requiring immediate and reliable
responses using AOL? Bwa ha ha! ^_^
Kidding aside, what was the name of the show?

From 2 to 10, were they including or excluding the endpoints? Did they
make it clear to the respondents that the endpoints were (or not) to be
included?

Jester Fred, what does "more than have" really mean.
Is that a point on the Cartesian coordinate system
