Privilege of China's wealthiest: A 2nd child |
There seems to be a wide disparagy between China and America about what
is truly important. The Chinese consider having children a privilege,
the Americans consider killing these same babies in their mothers womb
a privelege. America's liberals have managed to make the Chinese appear
more humane than the U.S.

Is this the same China that has been murdering female
babies for centuries? The same China that uses forced
abortions on women that want to have children? Try
again, bozo.

It's the same Chinese government policies, not the will of the Chinese
people. We here in America should know better than anyone that
government policy doesn't necessarily reflect the will of the people.
The people of China seem to value life more than their American
counterparts. Our citizens actually demand that they be allowed to kill
their pre-born babies. Don't believe that nonsense about the Chinese
killing baby girls. That is pure propaganda; you should know better.

*The people of China seem to value life more than their American
*counterparts.
You have a point there: the USA are the only one left among the Western
countries to still apply death penalty. It's very interesting that
so-called Christian NEVER fight against death penalty which is cruel,
useless and can lead to mistake. The simple fact that ONE innocent can
be wrongly put to death should be enough for anyone sane to stop this
barbaric law. Of course, not in decadent USA where violence is "the
American way". And opposing it, automatically makes you "anti-American"
and a "commie"...
But, hey, what's a little more hypocrisy for Christians... I'll believe
you when you put the same amount of energy in fighting against abortion
as against death penalty. The commandment says "thou shall not kill",
not "thou shall not kill but if your decadent country says yes, then
it's OK, I guess."

I have always been on record as opposing the death penalty, murder is
murder. Besides, I believe that life in prison, under spartan but not
illegal conditions, isolated from society forever; no visits, no
letters or phone calls, ect.. is far further punishment than death.

In a message sent 'round the world, J Young poured fuel on the fire with
the following:
....
Don't believe that nonsense about the Chinese
killing baby girls. That is pure propaganda; you should know better.
Which propaganda source provided you that information?
From: http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/ch.html
In China:
Sex ratio at birth: 1.12 male(s)/female
Infant mortality rate:
male: 21.21 deaths/1,000 live births
female: 27.5 deaths/1,000 live births (2005 est.)
Compare with America:
Sex ratio at birth: 1.05 male(s)/female
Infant mortality rate:
male: 7.17 deaths/1,000 live births
female: 5.8 deaths/1,000 live births (2005 est.)
Perhaps the Chinese themselves are the source of this "propaganda".
http://english.people.com.cn/200408/25/eng20040825_154752.html
The Chinese government might also be part of the conspiracy:
http://www.china.org.cn/english/GS-e/139727.htm
And the Chinese may be in cahoots with the UN:
http://www2.chinadaily.com.cn/english/doc/2004-10/24/content_385129.htm
The Americans are also part of the conspiracy:

What is "privilege" for both of these societies is the right over
reproduction. You can bet that if there was a population cap on our
own country there would certainly be more Americans thankful to have
two children versus only one. But the cap can also lead to more
abortions because obviously subsequent conceptions would have to be
terminated. And of course, if we implemented the cap we would also
have more infanticide based upon status of gender and health. And as
far as your chalking this up to "liberals" you do realize that China is
more left then us, right? They are communist.
