There is no way of telling in general once an artificial intelligence
has embarked on a calculation whether or not that artificial
intelligence will calculate a termination of unintelligible answers.

Halting Problem? If your warning is simply that Septic could start up
again essentially right where it left off, well of course. (Let's
just wait and see what actually happens, eh? :-) ) I was referring
to the indisputable dramatic change in behavior we've _already_
witnessed from Septic -- a week-plus-long lack of any significant
posts in alt.atheism (where the previous pattern was about 200 per
week). Hoooo-ahhh! ;-)

I was just joking. I thought you'd probably get the oblique reference to
the Halting Problem; which I suppose was a lame take-off on how Skeptic
often seemed to be acting like a computer program.
Actually, after writing my post it occured me that something awful might
have happened to Skeptic and that is why he hasn't been posting. I'd
feel pretty bad about joking around if that was the case.
