The idea that the Holy Book opens the door to eternal life has finally
been proven wrong.
A recent study proved that the Bible actually cannot save people at
all.
In one case, a Bible was thrown to a guy who was struggling in a
swollen creek. He let go of his precarious perch to catch it, but
despite the fact that he clung to it for dear life, he sunk to his doom
along with the Bible, which fortunately was later recovered so the
result could be scientifically duplicated. Perhaps if the Bible were
not so holey it would not have sunk so readily?
In another case, a skier was found dead under a Bible, which he had
opened over his head to protect himself from an avalanche. Clearly it
didn't work.
Finally, a muslim who was about to be beheaded under Islamic law
actually had a scroll of the Torah draped across his neck, yet it
failed to prevent the sword from severing his head.
This would seem to make it quite conclusive that the Bible is of no use
whatsoever in saving people or in promoting eternal life.
In a separate experiment to see if Jesus' words are actually true, the
phrase "Heaven and Earth shall fade away, but my words shall not fade
away." was put to the test.
Using a Bible in which Jesus' words are printed in red, a page
consisting mostly of Jesus' words was exposed to sunlight alongside
another page which did not contain any of his words but which contained
the phrase "Heaven and Earth".
Sure enough, after several days, the red ink had faded so badly it
could not be read (or red) whereas the black ink which contained the
words "Heaven and Earth" was still eminently visible, thereby proving
that Jesus lied.
